These are 4 key traits that when present, greatly impact how efficiently the horse can absorb knowledge and training and become true partners with their trainer/ handler. These four essentials immediately put both the experienced trainer and the beginner to great advantage with horses - it can proceed to create a unique bond with horses. If a horse is afraid of going into a stable or travelling box etc, PAX can be sprayed inside to create a tranquil, peaceful atmosphere which will help the horse to become calm and settle down. PAX is safe to use anywhere any time. It was made and sold for over forty years by "Carr and Day and Martin" (who were then known as "Day, Son and Hewitt"), the veterinary suppliers. During that time (and it is believed for more than one hundred years previous) there were no complaints. |

The benefits of using PAX |
PAX has been used over many years to help calm all types of horses from children's ponies to carriage horses, from show horses to race horses, riding horses to plough horses. PAX is neither applied to or administered to the horse. It is safe to use with any horses anywhere including race horses. The more nervous or problematic the horse the more benefit is obtained. It has no effect on physical ability nor does it alter character. It is worth its weight in gold when 'starting' horses, or riding nervous horses, or young horses, or difficult horses, or when trying to catch 'the un-catchable', or when just trying to become a closer friend with a pony. It helps man to bond with a horse - as one horse would bond with another horse. PAX can help to conserve energy which otherwise is lost through 'nerves'. How many horses are injured through over excitement or fear, wanting to escape a situation which they perceive as 'dangerous'. When sprayed inside a travelling box or a stable or the scene of an accident it helps to stop the horse from worrying and panicking. It helps calm the orphan foal when no suitable companion or foster dam is available. PAX has helped to calm trapped horses, or horses caught in barbed wire etc. Most people who use PAX always keep a bottle handy in case of an emergency. After initially wearing PAX and the horse has accepted you as an 'affiliated friend' then it is not always necessary to continue to wear PAX. PAX is not habit forming and can be used at any time. Using PAX when handling or schooling horses is the equivalent of pouring oil into an engine. |
PAX - instructions for use. |
Spray a tiny amount of PAX calming perfume onto the palms of your hands, rub the hands together in a washing action then wipe the hands over your browline to disperse the formula. With children it may be better to put a little on the clothing instead so that the child will not rub it into their eyes. |
