The owner - Heather Obonsawin has over 25 years experience working with a very diverse range of species, but more specifically dogs, cats & horses. Heather's background includes a degree in the field of Natural Health Sciences and extensive post grad studies in animal psychology, behaviour, husbandry & natural health & nutrition for animals. Heather also worked in the film industry in the role of Animal Safety Representative for the American Humane Association. In this role, she represented American Humane Association's very high standards of safety. The mission is to: prevent cruelty, abuse, neglect, & exploitation of both children & animals & to assure that their interests & well-being are fully, effectively, & humanely guaranteed. As briefly mentioned on my home page, I’ve been giving my 13 year old Golden Retriever the Arthritis Support formula since the summer of 2005; I’m amazed at the increased quality of his life. I had him on Glucosamine/Chondroitin capsules before, but he would still get “stiff days” & he was not happy. When I switched him over to the AS formula, the difference was amazing, and he has not had one stiff day even though he has been through a rainy winter and that is the time of year when his joints really bother him.
The assimilation is quicker & I like the other herbal ingredients that add a complete synergy to the overall product. I like that, a natural & complete life enhancing formula for a few cents a day as opposed to a $30.00 bottle that only gets half assimilated & ends up on the ground. It’s so worth it to see him instigate play with my younger dog again & enjoy his walks more comfortably.
Also, the Stressex formula has been a saviour. My Golden came from a rescue shelter when he was 8 years old. Lots of baggage that we’ve worked out together, but his fear of thunder & fireworks has never gone away. Well, this Halloween was the first time since I’ve had him that I could take him out for his last constitutional of the evening. A few squirts & timing in between the bangs, he went out, did his stuff & trotted back in. This has definitely improved his life, not only by minimizing how he reacts emotionally, but also not having to stress his bladder by holding it in till often the next day nor hiding in the bathroom shaking.
These products are wonderful, holistic, highly economical & resonate with my personal desire to increase the quality of life, maintain a level of prevention & see my pets happy & healthy.
